Golf Courses in Chiang MaiThailand is renowned as one of the Golf Havens in Asia. There are over a hundred of golf courses in the country. Some were previously visited by famous golfers such as Tiger Woods, and some sponsored major golfing events like Johnnie Walker Classic and Southeast Asian Games. A few of the internationally-known golf courses are located in Chiang Mai. This northern province has several champion golf courses that were built a decade ago and yet, they have well-maintained their high standards. Best golfing time in Chiang Mai is between the months of October to February when the temperature is at the average of 20?C. Rainy season in the region starts from June to September. And the coolest period in a year is between December and January. Prices for golfing in one of Chiang Mai’s finest golf courses are much alike with every golf course in the city. A golf cart’s price ranges from 500-600 Baht; golf set costs 600-1,000 Baht; golf shoes ranges at about 100-200 Baht, and umbrella normally costs 100 Baht.
